A unique naming tradition


Naming a baby is important for parents . For some people, giving a name for their baby should follow the tradition that applicable in their society . There are many ways to give a tradition name for baby around the world.  Giving a name of baby who followed the tradition ,  usually has its own meaning . The name given to a baby can include the level of caste , family name , patrilineal system etc .  Naming tradition makes it possible for someone to never lose their honorary title . Do your parents follow ancient naming tradition or modern names ? Do you have a name who followed a tradition ? .
  A tradition name not only given to new baby born , When a girl getting married , their name could change . They usually attach their husband’s name in their first name or their last name . Given a tradition name in every region is different and unique . For example , In South Korea , wife’s name unchanged eventhough she is married .The wife keep their family name .  



For example , Miss Park Bo Young married to Mr Lee jong suk , The name of Miss Park  not change to Mrs Lee . Different from Japan , After married , The first name of wife follow their husband name .

Indonesia also has a naming traditions . There’s a lot of naming tradition , for example in javanese , javanese do not usually have family names or surnames . some people only have a single name . For example Sukarno,Suharto . Javanese names may come from traditional javanese languages , many of which are derived from sanskrit . In Bali , naming tradition also based on the order of birth. The first child usually given the name “ Wayan “ , The second child usually named“ Made” , The third , usually named “Nyoman or Komang” . And the fourth usually named “Ketut” . Sometime , in Bali giving a name based on level of caste . Brahmana caste , usually named “ Ida Bagus” for boy , “Ida Ayu” for girl . Ksatria caste usually named “ I gusti , I dewa , Dewa ayu “ . Waisya caste usually named “ ngakan , sang , si “ . Sudra caste have no honorary title  , they only giving a name based in the order of birth . Interesting and unique , isn’t it ?
