Education is important for everyone. Everyone has the opportunity to get education. Education can be standard of success country . Therefore, Every country make serious effort in order to  education in that country be the best . Certainly , It is need a system that regulates the education, that is the education system. An education system is very necessary because this is regulate the course of education in a country and be a guide of the education process. The education system consists of several components consisting of input, process, output, environment, and outcomes. These components have certain functions that carry out a structural function to achieve the goals of the education system. Then, what is the purpose of education in our country? According to Law on the national education system ( No 20/2003) concerning the National Education System Article 3 is "Aiming at developing the potential of learners to be faithful and fearful of God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and a democratic citizen and to be responsible.
Every education system in every country must be different, so the implementation and the results will be different. Let's compare it with our neighbor country, Singapore . Singapore takes third spot in global education rankings .
